BUILDING TRUST + COMMUNITY
FUNDING PRIORITIES
DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION
We are continuously fundraising to support a dedicated Director of Education who will create and implement a robust outdoor learning curriculum. This role ensures that our programs meet the developmental needs of children while fostering a lifelong love of learning.
family psychologists
Supporting families is a key part of our mission. Funding for family psychologists allows us to offer our Nurture Notes, ensuring the emotional well-being of both children and their caregivers as they navigate the challenges of parenting.
SPECIAL USE PERMITS
Securing special use permits is critical to maintaining access to outdoor spaces where our children can learn and grow. Funding will help us navigate special use permits, ensuring we have the proper permissions to operate our school in a safe and sustainable manner.
OUTDOOR CLASSROOMS + MATERIALS
Funding is essential for building outdoor classrooms and providing materials that encourage hands-on learning. From folding tables to art supplies, these resources enable children to fully engage with the environment and enhance their educational experience.
LIABILITY INSURANCE
To protect our students, staff, and organization, we require funding for liability insurance. This ensures that we are covered in the event of accidents or injuries, allowing us to provide a secure environment for outdoor education.
OUTDOOR CURRICULUM
Developing a dynamic outdoor learning curriculum requires resources to create lessons that integrate nature play with fundamental skills like literacy, math, science, social and emotional development. Our curriculum will help children connect with their nature while meeting their developmental needs.
FIRST AID + CPR TRAINING
Ensuring the safety of our families is paramount. We need resources to provide comprehensive first aid and CPR training for our volunteers and group leaders, equipping them to respond quickly and effectively in case of emergencies.
