Dear Diamond Hill Explorers Community,
As spring approaches, I find myself reflecting on my time as the group leader for Diamond Hill Explorers. Before joining Ocean State Kids, I was eager to meet new families in our community. This group has not only met that need but has created a safe and joyful space for parents and children to connect, play, and learn together. It’s been a privilege to share in the camaraderie with peers who are navigating the same stage of life, fostering a genuine sense of belonging among us all.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the way our activities encouraged creativity, learning, and a deep appreciation of nature. Each week brought new adventures, allowing our children to take pride in their creations, make new friends, and enhance their communication skills. As a mother, these moments of meaningful engagement with my children have been especially precious, and Ocean State Kids has been instrumental in adding a little magic to our parenting journey.
Though I am stepping down from leadership, I eagerly look forward to joining you at future meetups across Rhode Island. Let's keep the spirit of exploration and friendship alive!
